Lowlife x James Maw

Our latest Lowlife Artist collab belts have arrived and we are SO pleased! James Maw is an extremely talented artist who specialises in concept art for computer games, board games and RPG books. His artistic talent is out of this world as you can see from his Artstation page (https://www.artstation.com/jamesmaw) and we were so excited when he agreed to team up with us to design four new prints to freshen up our range. Working closely with him from concept through to production he has created what we think are some of the best Lowlife Artist collaboration belts to date and add a darker edge to our range of printed vegan belts.

The Dealer Wins belt echoes the darker side of Lowlife with gothic-style suits and sketched images of skull-headed Jokers. This card suits belt features shiny black metal hardware that compliments the monochrome and red design perfectly. A simple pack of cards is all you need to have a laugh with friends in the evening but just remember, The Dealer Always Wins!

We asked James to design a belt with a theme of shrooms in a deep, dark, twisted forest and after a few different versions, the Tanglewood belt was born! We like to think that this mushroom print belt with the spiny undergrowth and the addition of red roses can add a pop of colour to your outfit. This rose and mushroom belt features pewter metal hardware that compliments the coloured design just right.

The serpent is one of the oldest mythological symbols that represents both good and evil so what better creature to feature on our Lowlife printed belt. Snake Eyes not only features the fork-tongued serpent but our other most popular obsession which is skulls, obviously. This printed snake and skulls belt features pewter metal hardware that compliments the monochrome hand-drawn design perfectly.

Finally, we asked him for a new belt that a Lowlife can proudly wear for the festive season. I know, it’s too early to think about Christmas but it will be here before you know it! We are majorly excited to bring you our Lowlife Happy Holidays belt. James decided to go cartoony with this design to create a fun Festive Fright belt packed with gifts, skulls and Christmas spirits. It features matt black metal hardware that compliments the hand-drawn Christmas design perfectly.

So, with our new range of vegan friendly printed designs by our latest Lowlife Artist James Maw, you can now put away the studs for a few days and show off to your friends with a unique piece of artwork to suit your mood and occasion.
